Poem–Endless Hike

via Daily Prompt: Hike

Hand on the railing, one…two…

A firm grip, to pull my body forward

Looking upward, stairs veil the castle

like a huge maze, calling for infinite race

Stopping, again, by the greens, gently

feel the braids,  under my nose

Light, delight, fragrance of wind and woods

Moist with rain, sweat and tears
